oh my, I didn't realize what fun shows were on back in the early aughts!!!
Dead Like Me was on showtime (i think?) and revolves around a young woman who gets killed by space debris, but her soul is 'saved' and she becomes what they call a Reaper. She is responsible for saving the souls of people who are about to be killed to save their soul the trauma. She joins a group of 4 other Reapers who do the same thing.
she struggles with her death, her new role as Reaper and being 'alive' but not able to be with her family.
It was only 2 seasons, but it was a really good show. I should have known it wasn't going to last the minute I saw Mandy Patinkin in the cast. amiright?
next I started The Originals, which is about the original vampires who can't be killed, apparently, and who run the city of New orleans. It's kind of fun, has a couple of great characters you 'love to hate.'
old shows are FUN! you see a lot of familiar faces, albeit very YOUNG, LOL!!
i may try Pushing Daisies next, i think it's the same writer as Dead Like Me.
