I think I told you I had it two years ago and nothing serious. I have never heard of it impacting someone for so long and with that much pain. :(
My mother used to get it because they removed some of her lymph nodes when she got breast cancer. She would actually get chills, fever, nausea, etc. She knew exactly what it was when it hit. When we visited Toronto in 1988, we just went to a clinic there, they take your insurance and voila, she got the antibiotics and got better.
Either way, I really hope that you are finally able to get out soon.
