accomplishment to pull that great ensemble cast of working actors together at the same time thirteen years later to make the movie. I was very happy that Trixie & Sol were still together. I loved them. And I thought Al’s death was a very fitting ending. He was a great character. It was certainly more closure than the way the third season left us hanging. But there were things I didn’t understand. Like Alma sold her gold claim to Hearst so she and Sofia could stay safely in Deadwood. But then they left anyway? Overall though, I’m glad I watched both the series and the movie. I loved so much of the dialogue, written in the language of the time.
