We went back to the Funkalicious fixer upper. Another realtor/contractor was there. He and our realtor thought the price was too high, like $100K too high, because there is do much dry rot and termite damage it will need to be stripped down to the studs or even fully rebuilt. Cost—over $100K. And the VA loan rules will rule it out.
Welp, that talked me out of it. We wouldn’t be able to afford paying for rent and the mortgage anyway. Onward.
