They just used the name to sell this idea when people would've watched it anyhow because it's Kathy Bates scheming.
It's funny how many successful shows are kind of reboots but chose not to go the route of calling themselves one. "Poker Face" is more or less "Columbo". "Castle" was very "Murder She Wrote" coded with an author helping solve crimes. "Leverage" was totally "The A Team", even the characters fell into the original troupes (Nate was the leader like Hannibal, Sofia was the actor like Face, Parker a bit unstable like Murdock and Eliot the muscle like BA). People will watch things similar to an old classic they loved without branding it a reboot.
