officially made it through all the key retail moments: Black Friday, the day after Christmas, the days leading up to Christmas, the semi-annual sale, etc.
that you’re happier in soon; or, at least, less unhappy. How long you work will affect how much Social Security you’ll get for the rest of your life once you reach the age you qualify. Not sure what age that is for you. It depends on what year you were born. So, by continuing to work, you’re doing more for yourself in the future than just paying today’s bills.
That's a good way to look at it. I try not to think about what age I will need to reach to qualify for Social Security...or if it'll even be around when I'm in need of it.
I think you should treat yourself to something special to celebrate making it through this year. I’m thinking it should be something yummy.
Well, tomorrow I'm taking my good church friend to the Grove City Outlet Mall for a little day trip. We used to make the 90 minute drive once every 2-3 years but the stores started leaving GCOM and we stopped going. I found out from a customer the other day that the mall has been somewhat revitalized, with new places moving in, so I asked gcf if she would like to go this summer. I hear there's a place there that sells fudge...that would be a yummy treat 😋
When I was in my early twenties, I did my share of waiting on tables and bartending so I understand how frustrating some customers can be.
I spent a summer working as a hostess at a nearby Perkins restaurant right after my freshman year of college. The hostessing part wasn't bad but I was also an emergency waitress (and terrible at it). I only had to wait tables maybe a half dozen times that summer but it was enough to make me never want to waitress again.
(((Hugs)))❤️
Thanks, hun!
