‘Days of Our Lives’ Renewed for Two More Seasons at Peacock

“Days of Our Lives” has been renewed for two more seasons at Peacock, bringing the soap opera through its 63rd installment.

The long-running daytime drama, which follows the lives, romances and conflicts between the Horton, Brady, DiMera, Kiriakis and Hernandez families, aired on NBC from its 1965 premiere until 2022, when it shifted to streaming exclusively on Peacock.

“Days of Our Lives” was the longest-running show on NBC. In December, the series aired its 15,000th episode. Prominent members of the current ensemble cast include Suzanne Rogers, Susan Seaforth Hayes, Deidre Hall, Carson Boatman, Raven Bowens, Tamara Braun, Elia Cantu, Bryan Dattilo, Mary Beth Evans, Dan Feuerriegel, Billy Flynn, Galen Gering, Linsey Godfrey, Stacy Haiduk, Jackée Harry, Leo Howard, Cherie Jimenez, Abigail Klein, Eric Martsolf, AnnaLynne McCord, Stephen Nichols, Ashley Puzemis, James Reynolds, Josh Taylor, Paul Telfer and Robert Scott Wilson.

The series has earned 62 Emmys throughout its 60-year run. In 2024, Dick Van Dyke became the oldest Daytime Emmy winner ever, taking home a guest acting award at age 98 for his stint on the soap. “Days of Our Lives” was recently nominated for 13 Daytime Emmys, including outstanding daytime drama series, marking the highest number of nods the show has received since its move to Peacock.

Outside of its devoted fan base in the United States, “Days of Our Lives” airs abroad in Canada, Sweden, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa, Australia and other places.
