I think The Patron Saint of Liars was Patchett’s first book. I really liked it.

But THE Ann Patchett book is Bel Canto. It won the PEN/Faulkner Prize in 2002, and it is phenomenal. Also one of my favorite books ever.

Thanks for faithfully posting the book post, Pablo. I don’t always participate, but I always read it and enjoy my fellow SZers’ thoughts on their reading.
