I got an e-mail that I didn't see until much later, after I, for some reason, checked my voicemail: Can we install your countertops on Tuesday, July 8th between noon and 1pm (instead of some time in
August?
The installation should take about a half an hour to thirty minutes. I'm so thrilled. I hope I didn't damage the reps ears when I squealed. Now I just have to get in touch with the water company that will install my RO system in the sink, and my plumber to install the sink and the disposal. The disposal is...different. I have an appointment wo meet with the electrician to get an estimate of the work costs and to schedule the installation of the exterior security lights on the posts/roofline of the new patio and some ceiling fans with lights on the back part of the patio itself and some kind of light (open to ideas...I may have to buy some lights) on the short side of the patio.
I had an estimate done to have my old, not used for about two years, HVAC removed and the opening capped with the old unit moving to the house of a woman from my church. I've been trying to pass it along for over a year and things keep falling through. I'm determined to get it done! I bought it in 2008 and I'd had it serviced twice a year since I had it installed. I figure it still has a decade or more years left in it at a minimum.
No plans yet for the installation of the batteries for my solar set up. The comms device keeps dropping out, then resetting itself...or not. My guys have checked it at least twice only to have it fall off again. Adding more panels in 2029.
Have a great Independence Day!
