I hope she recovers well. Thank god she’s alive. I can’t imagine how traumatized that little girl must feel. I hope she gets all the help she needs.

Where did she encounter these dogs? Were they out unleashed. When I was at the bank recently, a man brought a pitbull in. It was on a leash but he put the leash down to go do his business with the teller and left the dog lying on the floor in the reception area, where I was sitting. Nobody said a thing. Not a bank enployee. Not a bank customer. And uncharacteristically, not me. I didn’t want a fight to start that might upset the dog, who was lolling blissfully on the cool stone floor with a heat wave outside. A lot of people feel like pit bulls are misunderstood and stereotyped. But they can be dangerous and need to be leashed.
