It could have been so much more. I ended up letting episodes like up on my DVR because it was much better to binge it. I think the throuple was boring and ill-conceived. Seriously, a doctor sleeping with his subordinate? The actress who played Avery being the weak link. I swear I never got what either of them saw in her. I also think that focusing on the three hurt it as other members of the cast were interesting enough to give more balance and variety. And don’t get me started on the chef Tristan was hooking up with who disappeared for several episodes and then poof—she was back as if their romantic entanglement hadn’t waned at all.
