Someone at my church gave me a wooden rocker with cushioned seats (not really a good description); but the seat has a tear in the seams in the middle that crosses through two sections up and down. It's light green with medium brown wood. I'm going to repair the cushion (it's either vinyl or leather) with a black vinyl repair piece on that I plan to use to cover the vertical and horizontal split seams and possibly to wrap the piping around the cushions. The repair kit costs about $20 ($17.35), so the cost of the chair was $17.35 plus labor. The guy even delivered it!
I put a patio chair cushion on it for the time being and plan to put a kitchen chair cushion (thinner) on the chair after the vinyl repair. I'm thrilled!
Free stuff!!!! That's my jam!
