I've written to my two (Democratic) senators. I haven't written my (Republican) congressman yet. This is what I've sent to them and posted on various websites:
Time for Congress to demand a training stand down by ICE/DHS. No funding, all funds frozen except funds needed for training, until the stand down is completed.
The training MUST include passing training on the US Constitution (use the Constitution Day training available in DoD as part of annual training - no point in reinventing the wheel) and training similar to National Guard training on crowd control. The training could take days or weeks, but every DHS member, since they like to slide people into ICE jobs on a whim, must take and pass the training. They are off the streets until they have proper certification.
Due process and no more murders.
