I’m in the demographic that Cuomo thinks he has but I voted for Mamdani. There’s always the danger that too many people who would’ve voted for Mamdani don’t bother to vote because polls tell them he is ahead so they think it doesn’t matter if they don’t vote. Thankfully Sliwa stayed in so Cuomo won’t get that sliver of votes. The Jewish community here seems divided on Mamdani. Who knows what will actually happen but I’ll feel better once it’s over. It can’t help Cuomo that Trump is pushing for him and Cuomo is using Trumpesque scare tactics that, frankly sound desperate.
