since he shut US AID down. Taxpayers paid for that food and taxpayers paid to destroy that food. With the whole US AID staff laid off, who would have distributed that food to starving people if they still had their jobs, we couldn’t have contributed that food to some other aid organization like the Red Cross? Destroying that food was preferable to feeding hungry people with it?
