I think THAT is the only thing that might work on MAGA people - there's a slight chance they will listen to one of their own. I hear a lot, as a white woman, that I can influence my family and the people around me. I sincerely wish that were true, lol. I mean, first off, my immediate family members (mom, brother, sister-in-law) all hate Trump, so I've got nothing there. I am perfectly willing to challenge my aunt, the same way I challenged my grandmother. I called her racist to her face. Repeatedly. I am willing to challenge Facebook friends and the like. But they won't listen to me. They simply will not hear it. I'm anti-Trump and that's enough to "otherize" me from members of the cult. I still do it, often more the people who might be listening or watching than for the MAGA person themselves at this point, but I haven't made even the smallest dent in penetrating this shield. The only people they JUST might listen comes from within the MAGA movement.
